Dear Parents/ Carers,

Today is the end of a very busy half term and time for you all to spend some time as a family enjoying lazy mornings and plenty of fresh air in this beautiful autumn weather. It is a wonderful time of year to explore and be outside appreciating all that God has given us. Children throughout the school took part in a ‘Be spirited’ day on the theme of “Be Thankful” and explored everything that is wonderful in our world. From exploring our world outside, by making lateral sculptures and works of art; bread making; to creating wonderful poems based on a reading from the Book of Genesis in Y6. Your children gained so much from this day and thank you for the positive feedback on Free Flow. Parental engagement is so important and we thank you for sharing in your child’s learning.

The Gospel this week talks about courage. Most of us need courage at some points in our lives and this Sunday we are reminded not to be afraid and to speak up for what we think to be right. Please share this prayer with your child at home.

Dear Lord Jesus, please give us the courage always to do and say what is right and help us to remember that we can always put our faith in you. Amen

We congratulate Miss Short and Mr Sturdy who are celebrating their engagements this week – not to each other!! Congratulations to Miss Short and her fiancé Lee and Mr Sturdy and his fiancée Hannah. May God Bless you all.
