School Council

The School Council consists of representatives from each of the Key Stage 2 classes. Each class is represented by two councilors. Members are elected in Year 3. Candidates are invited to make a short speech to their classmates explaining why they should be elected. A silent vote is then held to elect the representatives – a boy and a girl.

Meetings are held on a regular basis [fortnightly where possible]. At the first meeting of the year, officers are elected by the Council Members. A council leader and a deputy leader are elected from year 6.
